In October alone, the total number of passengers increased by 16.1% year-on-year to 416,000 passengers. Month-on-month, it edged up by 0.1%.
The largest passenger numbers in the ten months flew to and from Britain (693,800, or 19.2% of the total number), Germany (350,700, or 9.7%), Norway (287,900, or 8%), Italy (249,400, or 6.9%), Turkey (206,900, or 5.7%), Denmark (201,000, or 5.6%) and Spain (198,300, or 5.5%).
The total number of passengers on scheduled regular flights rose by 12.7% year-on-year to 3.3 million, accounting for 90.5% of all passengers.
The country's airports this year handled a total of 12,200 tons of cargo and mail, up 12.2% from a year ago.
The total number of arrivals and departures by local and foreign-owned aircraft increased by an annual 4.7% to 42,100, the statistics office said.
