On September 21 Minister of National Defence Juozas Olekas will meet with High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini coming on an official visit to Lithuania. Agenda of the meeting to be held at the Ministry of National Defence is planned to focus on security threats in the European Union neighbourhood, situation in Ukraine, Eastern Partnership, and review of the European Security Strategy. Points of cooperation between NATO and the European Union and other issues will also be discussed.
