Prime Minister Butkevičius will start the visit programme on Sunday, 25 January by a meeting with the Lithuanian community based in Georgia.
On Monday, 26 January, the Prime Minister will meet with the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili to discuss important energy and transport issues, development opportunities for the bilateral economic cooperation, as well as prospects for Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic organisations and Georgia-NATO cooperation.
These meetings will be followed by Prime Minister's visit to the Court of Justice. On Monday, the leader of the Lithuanian Government will also meet with the founders and the representatives of the Baltic Business Association in Georgia.
On Tuesday, 27 January, the Prime Minister will meet with the Lithuanian businessmen, take part in Lithuania-Georgia business forum, and pay tribute to Georgian freedom fighters at the Heroes' Memorial. Lithuanian Prime Minister will also visit European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Mtskheta, headed as of January 15by Lithuanian diplomat Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas.
Late evening on Tuesday the Head of Government and the delegation will return to Lithuania.
