The President invited representatives of the Vietnamese public and private sectors to participate in the Life Sciences Baltics Forum to be held in Vilnius in September this year, emphasizing that the Lithuanian life sciences sector is one of the most advanced in Central and Eastern Europe.
In his speech, the President also highlighted Lithuania’s potential as a global financial technology center. The Head of State noted that Lithuanian companies have already implemented successful projects in Vietnam and other countries of Southeast Asia.

Speaking about the transport and logistics sector, the President highlighted the development projects of the Klaipėda Seaport. The Lithuanian food industry sector’s exports to Vietnam and the development of sustainable agriculture were also highlighted.
“Our goal is not only to successfully export Lithuanian goods and services, but also to establish reliable relations with suppliers in Vietnam, especially in the engineering sector,” said the President.
Gitanas Nausėda concluded by welcoming the cooperation agreements between Lithuanian and Vietnamese institutions that were signed during the visit in the fields of energy, innovation, industry, maritime transport and logistics, and agriculture.
