On 9 January in Riga, Budrys will meet with the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže. The meetings will focus on regional security, support for Ukraine, energy resilience, and the implementation of joint infrastructure projects.
On 10 January in Tallinn, the head of Lithuania's diplomacy will meet with Estonia's President Alar Karis and Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna to discuss critical infrastructure protection, strengthening the security of the Baltic Sea and the region, and supporting Ukraine.
Budrys and his Latvian and Estonian counterparts will also discuss preparations for the EU Foreign Affairs Council in late January and the NATO summit in The Hague this summer.
