The NATO Defence Ministers will discuss preparations for the upcoming NATO Summit in Washington while especially focusing on executability of the NATO defence plans, defence financing and enhancing industrial capabilities. The NATO-Ukraine Council will also convene during the ministerial.
A. Anušauskas will attend bilateral meetings and distance meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group while in Brussels as well.
Later Minister will travel to Germany for the 60th Munich Security Conference on February 16-17. The event will see senior representatives of politics, militaries and industry discuss the most pressing foreign and security policy challenges.
