The President leaves for a working visit to Brussels

On 31 January and 1 February, President Gitanas Nausėda will attend a special meeting of the European Council in Brussels. The meeting will focus on the revision of the EU’s multiannual financial framework to include a €50 billion support package for Ukraine. The European leaders will also discuss defense and security issues. On the eve of the European Council, Gitanas Nausėda will attend a ceremony to pay tribute to former President of the European Commission Jacques Delors.
