“At the time of geopolitical changes and real-life threats, all Western countries, including Lithuania, are increasing their defence budgets and taking steps to upgrade their militaries. Modern, quick and effective armed forces have become a priority for all NATO member states. That brings technological edge to the forefront. We need to encourage representatives of armed services and innovative businesses to come together in joint defence industry projects. I wish you to avail of all networking opportunities, establish partnerships and transform your ideas into reality,” said Minister A. Anušauskas in a welcome address.
According to Minister, regular stakeholder meetings at the Baltic Miltech Summit events could foster innovation in cutting-edge defence technology, create dynamic business opportunities and promote development of regional defence technology ecosystem.
