At the end of June political council of the Lithuanian ruling coalition has made a decision to dismiss all the vice-ministers and re-appoint them again after a favorable opinion of the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania in response to the media reports concerning the so-called black list.
According to the Press Office of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania (EAPL), Renata Cytacka and Aleksandras Spruogis were positively evaluated and therefore were appointed as vice-ministers of Energy.
'It has to be stressed, that none of five vice-ministers delegated by the EAPL was included on the so-called black list. EAPL representatives have never been involved in any corruption scandal, have been honestly working for their voters what is a positive exception in the Lithuanian political scene, ' says the statement published by the EAPL Press Office
Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania, which is the member of the Lithuanian ruling coalition, ensures that the coalition is stable.
'There were a lot of comments in media stating that the appointment of R. Cytacka for the position of the vice-minister of Energy is somehow connected with the stability of the ruling coalition in Lithuania. EAPL states that the ruling coalition is stable and operates according to the coalition agreement signed in November 2012. None of the parties forming the coalition committed the breach of the agreement provisions. EAPL is considered to be one of the most reliable partners, which fulfills its the obligations to the coalition and always votes according to the previously achieved coalition agreements,' the EAPL Press Office stated today.
EAPL forecasts a busy new political season, the most urgent works of which will be discussed during the meeting of the political council of the Lithuanian ruling coalition.
'The autumn session of the Seimas will start on 10 September. The Seimas, the Government, and the coalition will have to face considerable challenges regarding the difficulties that Lithuanian exporters are struggling with as well as new forecasts for the economic growth of the country. The meeting of the political council of the Lithuanian ruling coalition is scheduled for 25 August. The most important task for the future will be discussed then,' the EAPL Press Office informed.
