The Minister Virgilijus Jukna was deputised by the Labour Party. There are also three vice-ministers in the Ministry, i.e. conservatist Mindaugas Kuklierius (by the way, after the elections to the Seimas there were efforts made by the Labour Party to deputise him for the position of the Minister of Agriculture), representative of the Labour Party Živilė Pinskuvienė and the representative of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania Leokadija Počikovska.
The EAPL representative was the only vice-minister of the Ministry who did not hear any objections or criticism from the President. To add, during the meeting with the ruling coalition (16 June), the President stressed the fact that L. Počikovska works honestly and competently on her position. This news was confirmed by Rita Tamašunienė who took part in the meeting.
According to 'Žinių radijas', the Minister is still making his decision whether to make some changes in his team. The questions concerns namely the vice-minister from the Labour Party Živilė Pinskuvienė whose name is on the 'black list'.
We would like to remind that at the beginning of June the President confirmed to the media that the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania has provided the President and the Prime Minister with the document ('black list') including the names of suspect vice-ministers of the current government. Some political scientists state that most probably the list is imaginary and is a good tool in the hands of D. Grybauskaitė to improve her results in popularity rankings.
