The results of the elections to the EP show a strong support for the EAPL. Being under the leadership of Valdemar Tomaševski, an efficient organizer having good political sense, the party got opened to cooperation with other groups representing national minorities. Votes acquired by the coalition prove this decision to be pertinent, as not only Poles from the Vilnius Region voted en masse for the 'Block of Valdemar Tomaševski', but also members of Russian, Belarusian and Tatar communities as well as representatives of other national minorities in Lithuania. This way the electoral slogan 'Strong in unity' was implemented in practice.
The high score achieved in the elections to the EP appears to be an effect of good organizational work based on clear principles and on building the community of true values. It is also an appreciation of the politics of Valdemar Tomaševski by his voters. He, as the chairman of the EAPL and Member of the European Parliament, relies on Christian values and cares about every inhabitant of Lithuania. That is why the coalition takes care of all the national minorities and fights for their civil rights. This is what voters value mostly in the 'Block of Valdemar Tomaševski'.
The result of the EP elections is another significant electoral success of the EAPL party and its coalition partners and allies. In the presidential elections (11th May 2014) Valdemar Tomaševski got 110 thousand votes (8,4 %) what is a great success in Europe among the candidates representing national minorities.
