In the meeting, the Prime Minister has expressed his delighted at the active economic relations between the two countries as well as the increasing number of Belarusian citizens coming to Lithuania for tourism or shopping. Lithuania continues to be ready to cooperate with Belarus in transit of goods through the territory of Lithuania and Klaipėda Seaport and, wherever possible, to increase its volume.
The meeting has also discussed matters of concern between the two countries, in particular, the construction of the Astravyets nuclear power plant in Belarus.
