Grauziniene is participating in NB8 meetings in Chisinau together with other speakers of Nordic and Baltic parliaments.
The speaker of the Seimas said that Lithuania supports Moldova's determination to choose the European path.
The speaker noted that Moldova has to suitably prepare for the implementation of the Association Agreements provisions and that Lithuania is ready to share its experience.
"Visa-free travel is Moldova's first step into the European Union. People of Moldova not only have to hear about Europe but to see it for themselves, to understand how the Community can improve the lives of ordinary people," Grauziniene said.
In the afternoon Grauziniene will meet with President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti and Prime Minister Iurie Leanca. On Wednesday, the speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament will meet with the leader of the opposition Vladimir Voronin. She will also visit Gagauzia autonomy and meet with its heads and public figures.
