The leaders discussed strengthening energy security and welcomed defense cooperation. Currently, a mechanized squad of more than a hundred Norwegian troops are deployed in the German-led NATO enhanced forward presence force battle group in Lithuania.

Lithuania and Norway are close allies working for the security of their citizens and all Europeans, both bilaterally and in international organizations.
