During the meetings with the first ambassador of Bahrain accredited to Lithuanian from Paris and ambassador of Kuwait residing in Berlin, the President discussed bilateral economic relations, legal basis, academic, cultural and tourism exchange that contributes to better understanding and more people-to-people contacts.
The President emphasized that students from Kuwait and Bahrain were welcome at Lithuanian universities.
The President and the new Ambassador of Montenegro discussed the need to strengthen bilateral political and economic relations, discussed the progress of Montenegro’s accession negotiations with the European Union, security and defense issues and the preparations for the upcoming NATO Summit on December 3-4, in London.
