"I would like to share my delight with the relationship that exists between Lithuania and Malta, and to express my firm belief that it will continue growing stronger and deeper. Our collaborative work and the challenges faced by our both countries - and the whole of Europe - call for closer dialogue and interaction not only at the European Union level, but also bilaterally between Member States," the President wrote in her message of congratulations.
The Lithuanian head of state wished Malta's President strong resolve in performing the important and responsible duties of her position, and she wished long years of prosperity and well-being to Malta and its people.
