1) active membership of NATO; stronger transatlantic relations and ties with the United States of America;
2) active membership of the European Union;
3) developing relations with countries of the Nordic and Baltic region; good neighbourly relations;
4) active engagement in the parliamentary dimension of international organisations with a view to ensuring effective and strong representation of Lithuania’s interests and maximum presence of Lithuanian representatives in the management positions of international organisations and in top political positions;
5) support for reforms and Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations of the European Union’s Eastern Partnership countries; and
6) developing ties with the Lithuanian diaspora communities and organisations abroad.
