Plenary
MEPs will debate the future of Europe with the Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen on Wednesday.
On Thursday, they will assess the progress made by Serbia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro on their path towards possible EU accession.
On the same day, Parliament will on vote on updating conditions for governments to temporarily re-introduce internal border checks in the Schengen area.
MEPs will also vote on the appointment of Andrea Enria as the new chair of the European Central Bank's supervisory board, the EU’s banking supervisory body.
Committees
The economics committee will debate the euro zone’s monetary policy with Mario Draghi, chair of the European Central Bank, on Monday.
On Tuesday, the environment committee will vote on draft rules to improve public access to studies used by the European Food Safety Authority in its food safety risk assessments.
On the same day, a conference on the impact of EU research and innovation on people’s daily life will take place in the European Parliament.
