“I am glad to see that investment projects carried out in Lithuania meet expectations; therefore we can see, more and more often, development projects of the established investors, and Dovista only proves that. Plans to become the largest employer in the region and to expand the number of employees to 1000 are good news to all of us. An example is shown not just to Lithuanians, but also to the foreign companies that it is possible to believe and trust in Lithuania, its opportunities and its people’, said the Head of Government.
More than 5000 new jobs and almost 40 direct foreign investments over the last year demonstrate Lithuania’s perseverance, targeted actions by the Government and success in developing business environment. According to the Prime Minister, Lithuania and Denmark cultivate strong and active economic relations. Denmark ranks 8th in terms of foreign investment in Lithuania.
Dovista, a leader on the North European market for windows and external doors, is owned by the Danish company VKR Holding A/S with more than 15 000 employees in 40 countries.
