The farmers wished to know about the post-2020 common agricultural policy strategy currently being drafted by the EU and prospects for Lithuania's farms. The farmers were of the opinion that these issues demand conceptual solutions and clarity.
'The solution of long-standing problems in the agricultural sector that have not been addressed for many years first of all requires unity of your community. Unity and joint work will definitely bring results.

In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the problems in the milk production sector, issues concerning taxes applicable to farmers, financing of rural development measures, additional national aid, etc.
