Looking at the Lithuanian-Latvian relations, I am happy to note the continuing close and warm relations between our countries. I want to assure you that I am ready to work with you towards further strengthening the cooperation between our two states. I firmly believe that our mutual understanding, friendship and support will help to achieve common goals in the future.
It is within short, i.e. February 3, that we will meet in Tallinn. I will be happy to personally convey greetings and discuss current issues in the Baltic countries, as well as to draw guidelines together for our joint work. I am also glad that we will have an opportunity to discuss the bilateral relations between our states on your visit to Vilnius.
