Posted workers
On Tuesday MEPs will debate and vote on new rules to ensure equal pay and working conditions for posted workers, which are workers who have been sent to another EU country temporarily. The revised rules, which were informally agreed by Parliament and Council negotiators in March aim to ensure better protection for posted workers and fair competition for companies.
Anti-dumping measures
MEPs will debate on Tuesday a draft law aimed at tackling imports that are unfairly cheap and vote on it the following day. The EU could impose higher tariffs on dumped or subsidised imports from non-EU countries under a new law, informally agreed by MEPs and EU ministers in December 2017.
Future of Europe
MEPs will debate the future of Europe with Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel on Wednesday morning. Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, will also participate in this debate.
Other subjects
Fighting mileage fraud on used cars, the future of the EU's farm policy and evaluating the situation in the Schengen zone are also on the agenda.
