In his words, the Astravyets nuclear power plant located barely 20 km away from the EU’s border is a real hybrid threat to the region. Therefore, substantial funding should be allocated to EU’s comprehensive security, including its physical, social, and moral dimensions.
The EU Speakers Conference is the last event of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Next, the Federal Council of Austria is due to take over the Presidency of the Conference. The Conference meets each spring in the country that held the Council Presidency during the second semester of the previous year.
