During the visit Minister. R.Karoblis is planned to meet with Iryna Fryz, Chair of the Subcommittee on National Information Systems Security, Committee on National Security and Defence of the the Verkhovna Rada, and to visit the NATO Liaison Office in Kiev.
Minister will deliver remarks in one of the sessions on the Kyiv Security Forum on April 13, planned to be attended alongside Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov and Deputy NATO Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller.
Lithuania consistently supports Ukraine on its road of reform and its European and Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations. Lithuania also supports the proposal to hold a NATO-Ukraine Commission session to at the NATO in July in Brussels.
