"On behalf of the Lithuanian Government, I express concern to the Government of Ukraine over the situation in the country with military forces drawn to the centre of Kiev and the pending threat of the use of force against unarmed civilians", – said Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius.
The Prime Minister of Lithuania has been concerned by the incoming reports about the on-going provocations in Ukraine and possible unacceptable behaviour against protesters.
"I urge the Prime Minister of Ukraine to take a responsible consideration of the situation and start a dialogue with the opposition as soon as possible to reach a peaceful solution," – says the Head of the Government of Lithuania.
