The consultations concluded with a signature of Bilateral Cooperation Plan 2018 covering studies of Armenian representatives at the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania, Division General Stasys Raštikis Lithuanian Armed Forces School, Baltic Defence College, medical courses, and return bilateral political –military talks.
The Armenian delegation also paid a visit to the Division General Stasys Raštikis Lithuanian Armed Forces School to familiarise with NCO training system and courses.
Lithuania and Armenia have been developing defence cooperation since 2002. Lithuania provides support for Armenian officers’ studies at the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania, Division General Stasys Raštikis Lithuanian Armed Forces School, and the Baltic Defence College (Estonia, Tartu).
