Members Kubilius and Juknevičienė descried an alleged hand of Moscow (sic!) in this. In the below presented response to Member Juknevičienė, Valdemar Tomaševski, the leader of the EAPL, factually and accurately shed light on provocative aim of the new bashing of conservatives and cut off any speculation on the subject.
Below the response of Valdemar Tomaševski, the leader of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania, to the request of a Member Rasa Juknevičienė on the behalf of the Conservative Party, is presented.
Dear Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Rasa Juknevičienė,
I received an email sent by you, which can hardly be called otherwise than a provocation. It must be noted with regret that A. Kubilius, chairman of your Party, has acted in a similar way during the so-called hour of the Government. We got used to your and other conservatives' antics long ago, but everything has its limits. Your goal is clear - the division and conflict of the representatives of national minorities, but the citizens of our country - Poles, Russians, Belarussians, and representatives of other nationalities - have understood that only joint actions can prevent discriminatory decisions of your party. Therefore national minorities have worked and will continue to work in unity regardless of your cheap provocations and disseminated nonsense.
Valdemar Tomaševski,
Leader of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania
PS Conservatives' provocations do not surprise me since long time ago, but I was startled by your incompetence, as even high school graduates acquire more knowledge on elections and the political scene of Lithuania .
