Glyphosate
On Monday the Parliament organises a public hearing on a European Citizens Initiative calling for an EU-wide ban on glyphosate, a controversial herbicide. In October MEPs rejected European Commission plans for a ten-year renewal of the licence and instead proposed a full ban by 2022. EU governments are set to vote on a five-year renewal on 27 November.
Online shopping
The legal affairs and the internal market committees vote Tuesday on proposals to better protect online shoppers when content such as downloaded games or music fail to work properly. The rules include guarantees and easier ways to get refunds.
Online TV and radio
The legal affairs committee also votes Tuesday on a regulation to make the distribution of online TV and radio programmes easier across the EU.

The Parliament hosts a conference on Africa on Wednesday to discuss development ahead of the next EU-Africa summit.
