Grybauskaitė discussed the visit in a telephone conversation with her Polish counterpart, Bronislaw Komorowski, on Friday.
The visit will include a face-to-face meeting of the Lithuanian and Polish presidents, which will address issues relevant to regional security, the European Union'sEastern Partnership policies and preparations for the Vilnius summit.
Lithuania's president last year did not attend the Independence Day events in Poland. Her representatives then officially said Grybauskaitė had to stay in Vilnius for urgent internal policy matters; however, observers viewed this as a sign of a chill in the bilateral ties.
The Lithuanian leader attended Polish Independence Day festivities in Warsaw in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Her predecessor Valdas Adamkus went to Poland for the occasion in 2007 and 2008.
