Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis emphasized Poland’s role as a very important strategic partner and Lithuania’s readiness to address all the outstanding issues on the basis of mutual trust and respect.
“I am certain that the relations between our nations have all the possibilities for much more intensivedevelopment. Therefore, I am prepared to take concrete decisions and do everything in our power to make the cooperation between our countries as close as possible”, said Prime Minister Skvernelis.
Marek Kuchciński, Marshal of the Sejm, underlined that that the shared history obliges us to take our dialogue further and continue the development of the constructive and friendly bilateral relations. According to Marek Kuchciński, the parliamentary diplomacy needs to be resorted to for this purpose.
