Germany is Lithuania’s second biggest trading partner, the third largest investor, and the first in terms of incoming tourism. We are grateful to Germany for its solidarity and contribution to strengthening security in our country and in the region, also for leading the NATO battlegroup in Lithuania, and for its active participation in NATO’s Air Policing mission in the Baltic states,” said Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Linkevičius.
The meeting also discussed items on international agenda and important issues related to the upcoming parliamentary elections in Germany.
