On Thursday, the consumer protection committee votes on two draft reports that aim to improve product traceability and make it easier to detect unsafe products in the EU.
On Monday, the economic committee discuss a draft report on the proposal for a Single Resolution Mechanism that aims to establish a single authority and fund to deal with failing banks.
The civil liberties committee will continue its inquiry on NSA mass surveillance of Europeans with two more hearings this week. On Monday, MEPs focus on the legal situation with regard to surveillance activities. On Thursday, they discuss national surveillance systems and national investigations under way in Germany and the Netherlands.
