“Lithuania and France enjoy friendly bilateral relations based on their strategic partnership, historical and cultural ties, and people-to-people contacts. Lithuania and France cooperate closely in addressing the most pressing issues on the European Union and North Atlantic Alliance’s agendas. We thank France for many years of support for ensuring security in the Baltic region. We believe that the continued close cooperation between Lithuania and France will contribute to the creation of a united and renewed Europe,” said Lithuania’s Foreign Minister.
The head of Lithuania’s diplomacy also wished the newly-appointed French Minister every success in his new duties and invited him to visit Lithuania.
