Martin Schulz in London
Schulz travels to London on Thursday to meet the Prime Minister as well as London Mayor Sadiq Khan. On Friday he also meets Labour Party Leader Jeremy Corbyn.
Also on Friday, Schulz is set to deliver a speech on “The EU and Britain: parting ways but working together” at the London School of Economics.
Migration
A delegation from the civil liberties committee is in Lebanon from Monday to Thursday to look into the situation of refugees and resettlement. During the visit MEPs will go to camps, have meetings with representatives from international organisations and non-governmental organisations and also talk to people working on the ground and with representatives of the Lebanese Parliament. Members of the budgetary control committee are in Lebanon and Jordan from Tuesday to Thursday to visit refugee camps and meet with representatives of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

Car emissions
Members from the internal market committee and the inquiry committee looking into the car emissions scandal travel to Luxembourg, France and Germany and the UK from Wednesday to Friday to visit testing facilities and meet with representatives from non-governmental organisations and national authorities.
Eurolat
The Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly (Eurolat) takes place in Uruguay from 19 September to 22 September. MEPs and their counterparts from Latin American parliaments will discuss issues such as migration and trade.
