Speaker of the Seimas congratulated new Speakers of Parliament of the Kingdom of Spain

On 1 August 2016, on behalf of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and on her own behalf, Loreta Graužinienė, Speaker of the Seimas, extended her congratulations to Pío Garcia-Escudero Marquez, Speaker of the Senate of the Kingdom of Spain, and Ana Pastor Julián, Speaker of the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain, on the assumption of their responsible offices. “I am convinced that our parliaments could make a significant contribution to the strengthening of friendly and close political, economic and cultural ties between Lithuania and Spain,” reads the letter of the Speaker of the Seimas. She also wished the Speakers of Parliament of the Kingdom of Spain every success and fruitful endeavours.
