It was opened today in Brussels by EP president Martin Schulz and Croatian prime minister Zoran Milanović. Mr Schulz said: "Let us enjoy not only the exhibition, but also the common and peaceful future as one European family."
Mr Milanović said in his speech that Croatia joining the EU represented the end of a long and windy road, however he emphasised a lot of works still needed to be done: "2 July is a new working day and we will have a lot to do, so wish us luck."
The exhibition consists of 38 photographs shot by photographer Damir Fabijanić that show the beauty and diversity of Croatia's cultural heritage and landscape. The photos can be admired outside the Parliament's buildings in Brussels and Strasbourg until September. (europarl.europa.eu)
