Minister J.Olekas met with the Ambassador of Korea

On May 27 Minister of National Defence Juozas Olekas met with Ambassador of Korea HE Ji-in Hong. Minister J.Olekas expressed appreciation of the 25 years of excellent diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Korea. While addressing possible development of military cooperation between Lithuania and Korea, Minister J.Olekas invited to consider closer contacts between military education institutions, expert exchange, and cooperation between the countries’ defence industries. Minister J.Olekas and the Ambassador also agreed to consider possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the area of cybersecurity.
