Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania has already expressed its support for the Minister Andriukaitis. Today, the Minister was invited to the Seimas meeting with the EAPL faaction in order to provide a broader explanation of the work led by the Ministry. Minister's replies were compelling, in-depth researched and that is the reason why the EAPL faction will support the Minister and will not take part in the voting.
The EAPL fraction stresses out that the Minister's actions are corresponding to the EAPL voters' expectations and to the party's position on the reform of health protection. We believe that the functioning of the health system in the private sector should be regulated on the legal basis, as well as, on the state basis and the financial support system of the healthcare should be regulated in order to eliminate the fraud in the health insurance system, which is, unfortunately, under regular abuse.
The EAPL confirms its position on the urgent need for principled reforms that will enable the modification of also other areas in the state - however, such reforms require Ministers' rigor and courage.
