The meeting will focus on the security situation in the region, the contribution of the U.S. armed forces to ensuring the security of the Baltic countries, and on strengthening air defense.
The President will present the Cross of Commander of the Order for Merits to Lithuania to the U.S. General. This state decoration was awarded to the General for his special personal contribution and efforts to strengthen the security of Lithuania.
The state decoration was conferred on Philip M. Breedlove on February 16, but the General was not in Lithuania at that time.
