On Monday, 7 December 2015, the Constitutional Hall in Building 1 of the Seimas will host the last event of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Baltic Assembly (BA), namely, the Annual Summit of the Baltic Assembly and the Nordic Council (NC). The event will begin at 1 p.m. and will be followed by a seminar on Belarus and the Eastern Partnership after the presidential elections in Belarus. The seminar, starting at 2:30 p.m., will equally take place in the Constitution Hall of the Seimas. The BA President and Head of the Seimas Delegation to the BA, Giedrė Purvaneckienė, and the President of the Nordic Council, Höskuldur Þórhallsson (Iceland), will deliver welcome speeches at the Summit. The discussions at the Summit will focus on the evaluation of the cooperation between the BA and the NC in 2014–2015 and the Action Plan for Cooperation in 2016–2017.
