On 2 May, the agenda includes meetings of the participants of the convention with the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, the Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius, and members of the Government.On the same day, heads of the Lithuanian diplomatic missions will assemble at the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, where the Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius is to deliver his annual report.
The session dedicated to tasks of the diplomatic missions over the period of Lithuania's Presidency of the EU Council will discuss objectives and priorities of the Presidency, as well as aspects of communication and the Presidency's organisational issues.
On 3 May, the Ambassadors will meet with the Speaker of the Seimas (Parliament) of Lithuania Vydas Gedvilas, and members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on European Affairs, and the Committee on National Security and Defence of the Seimas of Lithuania.
Later, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host a session "A Non-Permanent UN Security Council Seat: challenges and opportunities", which will also be attended by the Executive Director of the Security Council Report Bruno Stagno Ugarte.
The session dedicated to the cooperation between the diplomatic service and businesses will include speeches by heads of business associations in Lithuania.
