Šarūnas Jasikevičius studied in US and started his sports career in Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius. He was also playing in Slovenian, Spanish, Israeli, Greek and other teams.
Apart of numerous personal awards, golden medals and various triumphs, European experts recognised Jasikevičius as Europe's MVP in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Moreover, the basketball star won the European Championships in 2003 with the Lithuanian national team. To add, Jasikevičius was chosen as the best athlete of Lithuania in 2003.
