The Lithuanian team got the second place in the E group, because Serbia won against French team with a score of 77:65 and gained the first place.
The Lithuanian team as well as the Ukrainian team played very irregularly, the both teams had some difficulties with scoring and the match was equal all the game, but in the last minute the Lithuania was leading after Linas Kleiza three-pointer. From that time Lithuanian national team managed to suppress Ukrainians and win the game with seven point's advantage.
The most valuable player in the game against Ukraine for the Lithuanian team proved to be Linas Kleiza, who scored 15 points, followed by Donatas Motiejūnas 10; Darijuš Lavrinovičius 8; Reinaldas Seibutis 7; Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Jonas Mačiulis, Tomas Delininkaitis and Martynas Pocius scored 6 points each; Mantas Kalnietis 4; and Jonas Valančiūnas 2. Robertas Javtokas did not score this time, while Kšištof Lavrinovič did not play.
