These days Lithuanian team is preparing for the EuroBasket 2013. And the preparations seem to be going really good.

On 12th August Lithuanians defeated Swedish. The game started with more luck for the Swedish team but the final result was 97-69 in favour of the Lithuanian team. It has to be mentioned, that although Lithuanians played quite carelessly during last minutes, their victory was certain. The special input of two players has to be underlined - Linas Kleiza scored 18 points and grabbed one rebound while the Lithuanian NBA star Jonas Valančiūnas scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Previously, Lithuanian team won two matches home against Belgium. The first of the two matches was quite easy for Lithuania resulting with the final score of 86-61. The other one was more difficult and tense as the score was close during the whole game, but at the end Lithuanians managed to achieve victory and won the match with 66-53.

It seems that Lithuanian team is prepared for the EuroBasket 2013 very well. The players are confident and strong; therefore everyone hopes to see them coming back from the game with lots of medals.
