The Olympic Champion Rūta Meilutytė (16) was announced to be the best swimmer in the world.

The Lithuanian swimmer was announced to be the best after her medals in Monaco and Barcelona - in Monaco Meilutytė won four gold medals and in Barcelona she has again improved the European record.

According to John Rudd, the coach of the Olympic Champion, the aim was to feel the pressure and face the swimmer Ricky Pedersen, who led in the world rankings last year. As the coach claims, Pedersen is a great swimmer, but her problem is that she is not able to cope with the stress during the most serious events, and this definitely affects her results.

The latest achievements of Rūta prove that she will is not weak and is capable to achieve her greatest goals.
