Incoming full-time degree, Bilateral Exchange, Erasmus+ students and Free Movers wishing to live at VMU Dormitory No. 2 – "Baltija" (located at Vytauto pr. 71, Kaunas) during the academic year of 2015/2016 must fill and submit an online VMU accommodation application form until August 10th.
A separate competition will be organised in the middle of the autumn semester for students, who will come to study at VMU during the spring semester of 2015/2016 academic year – please follow the information on this website.
Conditions of the Competition
The place of residence at the dormitory is provided by VMU Office of Student Affairs with approval of VMU Students' Representative Council. The main priority in the provision of residences is the promptness of submitting the application and the degree of detailed information.
According to VMU social priorities accommodation is allocated to:
- orphans;
- disabled students (after taking into consideration their current ability to work). If a disabled student wishes to live with an accompanying person, after reaching an agreement with the director of the Office of Student Affairs, the accompanying person may live in the dormitory as well;
- students from families raising four or more children.
Students of socially exclusive groups (orphans, disabled students, students from families of four or more children) have to notice their situation in the VMU accommodation application form and attached electronic versions of documents that prove the exclusive social/financial status. All students have to submit the online form until August 10th.
Accommodation will not be provided to applicants that provide insufficient information or make false statements.
Each applicant will be informed personally about the competition results on August 17th via e-mail, provided in the submitted form.
