Certificates of appreciation of the Speaker of the Seimas, Loreta Graužinienė, and souvenirs were awarded to the teams of Lithuanian and Ukrainian young chess players. The guest team from Ukraine won the match on the first day of the tournament.
Diplomas and souvenirs were also given to both countries' representatives who took part in the two-day open tournament – three best players in each of the groups of girls, boys, teenage girls and teenage boys.
In the adults' tournament diplomas and souvenirs were given to Julius Sabatauskas, MP; Gintaras Songaila, former MP; Mykola Movchan, Vice Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and Anatoly Gnyp, General Secretary of the Ukrainian Chess Federation.
The participants of the closing ceremony were addressed by Mykola Movchan, Vice Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine; Gvidas Kerušauskas, Minister Councellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine; Viktor Kapustin, President of the Ukrainian Chess Federation, and Aleksandras Černovas, President of the Lithuanian Chess Federation.
