Not only the classics - the Old Town, Royal Baths, Wilanów Palace of Culture and Science, National Museum - can be found in the tourist guide. The Multimedia Fountain Park located between the Old Town and Wisła is also there. During the hot days this place is a refreshing sanctuary for tourists and inhabitants of Warsaw. During the evening one can enjoy the magic of colours and fantastic shapes of the Multimedia Fountain Park.
Relatively new on the list of Top 10 is also the National Stadium. It was created for the 2012 UEFA European Championship, in the basin of the former 10th-Anniversary Stadium. 'It is located close to the Old Town and the city centre and it can be seen well from many places in Warsaw, it looks great from the Castle Square, and a walk from the Palace of Culture and Science to the stadium takes less than half an hour' - city hall advertises.
Also the Copernicus Science Centre located at Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie Street 20 is a new place for most of the visitors. The first Centre building was opened along with five galleries (The World in Motion, Humans and the Environment, Roots of Civilization, Lightzone, BZZZ!). Then subsequently the RE was made available: generation - a gallery for young people; planetarium 'Niebo Kopernika'; Discovery Park. Visitors can learn about the laws of nature through experimentation on interactive exhibitions. In 2007-2008, the Centre was twice awarded the prize of Science Populariser granted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the service of the Polish Press Agency 'Science & Scholarship in Poland'.
The palm tree on the roundabout of gen. Charles de Gaulle is also aspiring to be included in the list of Top 10. Another object that is very popular in Warsaw is the Warsaw Metro.
