Yesterday the test of knowledge of the Constitution took place for the eighth time. It was organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania. All the citizens of Lithuania could take part in the test. The test was also available online.

This year there were more than 32 thousand people registered for the test.

According to the Minister of Justice Juozas Bernatonis, the test of knowledge of the Constitution is not only a test of knowledge but also of citizenship and patriotism. There are two parts of the test - first part was organized today and the second part will take place on 14th October.

27 winners of the test will be awarded by the President Dalia Grybauskaitė and the Minister of Justice Juozas Bernatonis during a ceremony held in the Presidential Palace on 28th October. The three best experts of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania will travel to Brussels. To add, all the winners will receive prizes from sponsors.
