During the visit, together with the management of USMB, the results of ten years of cooperation were reviewed and prospects for further cooperation discussed in strengthening and further developing the jointly conducted European and International Business Law (EIBL) (https://www.mruni.eu/en/study_program/european-and-international-business-law/) study program. This program provides an opportunity for students from Lithuania, France and other countries to obtain a master's degree in law and diplomas from two universities - MRU and USMB.
Since the beginning of cooperation between MRU and USMB, 133 students from 12 countries (Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, France, Sakartvelo, Ukraine and others) have completed the EIBL program. Graduates of the program are employed in legal and managerial positions in international energy, tax consulting, financial services, etc. companies, as compliance officers at alternative dispute resolution organizations, international business associations, international business consulting companies.
During the visit, the representatives of the Law School met the students of the EIBL program, the Dean delivered lectures on "New technologies and human rights", professor Virginijus Bitė shared best practices and advice for students looking for international internships.
